The following sets forth the terms and conditions of sales (also known as the “Terms of Sale”) for purchases made via this Web site, which is operated by Salt City Jazz Shop LLC, and supersedes any previous statement of such policies. Throughout these Terms of Sale, the word “Site” is used to refer to this Web site. By making a purchase via the Site, you are consenting to these Terms of Sale. Salt City Jazz Shop may modify, alter, or update its products offered for sale, its prices, fees, billing methods and/or these Terms of Sale at any time without prior notice, and your subsequent use of the Site to make purchases shall constitute your consent to the modification, alteration, or update.
PAYMENTS
By clicking the “Pay Now” button when making a purchase, you agree to pay Salt City Jazz Shop in full when due for the product(s) being purchased. Payment for purchases on this Site may be made by all methods available at checkout. Salt City Jazz Shop will charge your indicated method of payment upon the transmission of shipment of physical goods but may request preauthorization of up to the total amount to be charged from the provider of the payment method prior to the actual charging of the total amount. Amounts to be charged may include but not be limited to the purchase price (less any applicable discounts, if any), shipping and handling charges, sales, and other taxes where applicable and any other amounts indicated on the Site. To the extent that you are responsible for any additional taxes or fees beyond those collected by Salt City Jazz Shop, you agree that you will pay them when due.
Salt City Jazz Shop shall not be responsible for any errors or transmission failures with regard to the charging and collection of funds from your indicated payment method, nor for any actions taken by the provider of the payment method you choose (which could include refusal to authorize the charge). In addition to these Terms of Sale, any payments made by you may be subject to the agreement between you and the provider of the payment method.
As between you and Salt City Jazz Shop, you are responsible for all charges related to purchases made using your account and payment method, whether or not you authorized such purchases.
DISCLAIMERS AND OTHER PURCHASE-RELATED MATTERS
Other than as may be stated in the item description, SALT CITY JAZZ SHOP MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH REGARD TO ANY PRODUCT FOR SALE ON THE SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Salt City Jazz Shop shall not be bound by any factual, typographical, pricing or technical errors with regard to an item’s description, availability or pricing, and may change the description and pricing of products at any time. The manufacturers and distributors of the products sold by Salt City Jazz Shop are solely responsible for the products, their quality, and any issues which may arise in connection with the products, and all questions regarding use and support for products should be directed to their manufacturers.
Salt City Jazz Shop may, in its sole discretion, cancel any order at any time prior to fulfillment without liability. You should also be aware that quantities of some products may be limited, and inventories (if any) shown on the Site may not be current; Salt City Jazz Shop will not be liable for any shortfalls of products, even if the Site indicated the products were in stock at the time of order. Title and risk of loss for any physical product purchased by you shall pass to you when Salt City Jazz Shop delivers the goods to the common carrier it is using.
All sales are final. However, if in the event a product you have purchased is defective, damaged or is the incorrect item, please contact us by email at info@saltcityjazzshop.com within thirty (30) days of your purchase. Please include your name and your order number along with your description of the product and the defect. Salt City Jazz Shop will look into the matter, and we may contact you for further information (e.g., satisfactory ID and documentation of your purchase transaction) and/or we may ask you to return the unused item to us for inspection. If Salt City Jazz Shop determines that the product you purchased was defective, damaged or the incorrect item, we will be happy to replace it for the same item (subject to availability) or we may, in our sole discretion, issue a refund for the purchase price you paid. Please note that returns cannot be accepted unless you first contact Salt City Jazz Shop and after we issue a return authorization. In general, you should be aware that it may take approximately thirty (30) business days for a credit card refund to be processed and your financial institution will likely take approximately ten (10) business days to reflect a refund transaction to your account. INDEMNIFICATION
By making a purchase using this Site, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Salt City Jazz Shop, its affiliates and contractors, and its and their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any loss, claim, damage, obligation, liability, cost or expense (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of any investigation or preparation) arising out of or in connection with any actual or threatened claim, suit, action or proceeding by any person based on or arising out of such purchase.
GOVERNING LAW; FORUM
These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Utah, United States of America. You agree that the exclusive forum for any disputes arising out of these Terms of Sale and/or your use of the Site shall be the state and federal courts located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

U.S. SHIPPING
Salt City Jazz Shop offers free shipping via USPS media mail for all music formats (CD, LP, 12") to U.S. addresses only. There is no minimum purchase required.
Instruments and Accessories are shipped via USPS First Class Mail or UPS and charges will apply as per location shipped.
An email with tracking information will be sent when your order is ready to ship.
We do not provide a refund or replacement for items that have been scanned as delivered by USPS or UPS. If your package tracks as delivered, but you have not received it, please inquire with your mail carrier or at your local post office branch.
Estimated delivery time for USPS Media Mail is 3-14 businesses days to US addresses.
Shipments returned to us by USPS or UPS due to incorrect/unclaimed/undeliverable address information will be charged a $5.00 fee for re-shipment.
Some items are available for local pickup upon request – please inquire about specific items at info@saltcityjazzshop.com before you place your order.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (OUTSIDE OF UNITED STATES)
We're sorry, but we do not offer International shipping at this time. This includes shipping to Canada.
PAYMENT INFO
All prices are in $USD. Utah addresses for shipment will pay applicable sales tax.
REFUNDS
All sales are final. However, if an item is defective, we will be happy to exchange the defective item for a replacement of the same item within 30 days of purchase. If no replacement is available, Salt City Jazz Shop.com credit will be issued. Please contact info@saltcityjazzshop.com for help.
REFUNDS/EXCHANGES
All sales are final. However, if an item is defective, we will do our best to replace it whenever possible. If we are unable to replace the item, we will issue a refund. Please email us at info@saltcityjazzshop.com if an item you purchased on Salt City Jazz Shop is defective.
In cases of exchanges for defects in the original product, we will send the replacement piece(s) once we have received the original returned item. There will not be a shipping charge for this exchange.
All items must be in original condition and show no signs of use and must be returned in original vendor packaging.
If you choose to have your package shipped via a freight-forwarding service, you are doing so entirely at your own risk. Any customs or import duties, brokerage fees, taxes and all other charges paid on return shipments are solely your responsibility. In the event you refuse your package, all costs, duties, fees, or taxes are your responsibility and will not be refunded to you. We will not refund or reship any packages shipped to a freight-forwarding service.
In the United States, if the recipient refuses delivery an item purchased at Salt City Jazz Shop.com, all charges shall be your responsibility and Salt City Jazz Shop may charge you for any additional charges.
If in the event that purchases are not delivered to you due to a mistake on Salt City Jazz Shop’s part, Salt City Jazz Shop will completely refund you or send the item to you again without extra charge when the item is still available, whichever you prefer. Please note that when you place your order, a label is automatically generated from the address you type into your account details and so you are responsible for entering your correct address. If you enter the incorrect address and do not notify us before the order is shipped, Salt City Jazz Shop cannot refund your purchase. If we send you items that you did not order, we will refund you for cost of the outgoing postage and packing on those individual items once you send them back to us.
If items are not delivered because you gave us incorrect information, or because your post office was unable to deliver the package because there was no-one to receive it, Salt City Jazz Shop will refund you for the cost of the items only, but not for the postage and packing charges. Provided the items are still available, Salt City Jazz Shop can re-send the items at your request one time only and you will have to pay all shipping fees.
Requests for refunds must be made within 30 days of the purchase date. Salt City Jazz Shop will not refund after such date for any reason whatsoever.
In rare cases Salt City Jazz Shop may offer the option to return an item which is not defective you shall be responsible for the shipping costs for returning the item to Salt City Jazz Shop. Credits or refunds will be issued to you for the original purchase price after the item(s) are received and processed by Salt City Jazz Shop.
